Congratulations to the Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation’s (PAEDC) Chief Executive Officer, Floyd Batiste, on receiving the International Economic Development Council’s (IEDC)
IEDC, the largest association for professional economic developers in the world, has recognized nineteen leaders in the field with its 2020 Honorary & Leadership awards for achieving excellence in the profession.
Nominees for these individual awards were selected through months-long process and from a pool of many highly qualified nominees.
Mr. Floyd Batiste has continuously led the PAEDC with integrity, tenacity, and a philanthropic spirit for the past 15 years. Mr. Batiste demonstrates a vast knowledge of the intricacies of the economic development profession and plays a pivotal role in the continued success of the PAEDC. He not only exhibits exemplary leadership but also works tirelessly to develop the leaders around him. Mr. Floyd Batiste was honored during the 2020 Virtual Annual Conference this October 13-16th.
