Success Stories

As the lead for the Chamber’s Mentoring Program, I have the privilege of working with interns from Lamar State College-Port Arthur, Texas Workforce Solutions, and other workforce experience entities.

One of our greatest success stories here at the chamber has been a young lady named

Eva Ceja-Castillo.

Eva is a 2011 Port Arthur Memorial High School Graduate and a 2014 Graduate from Lamar State College-Port Arthur. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Medical Office Administration and is currently working at Neurology Associates of Southeast Texas as a Medical Office Administrator. Eva has found her career path and has been at N.A.S.T. for almost 6 years.

“Eva is the definition of “Go Getter”. During her time, here at the Chamber, Eva was able to help develop some of the Intern/Mentoring Modules that have been successful for us over the years. Without Eva to help guide us through that process, I do not think our program would have the high success rate that it does” Joe Tant.

The Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce and the Port Arthur Education Foundation is so excited to see what the future holds for our Eva.
