For the Love of Food and Chamber Members

Some of the perks living here all my life and working in Jefferson County, I’ve  encountered lots of great restaurants back in the day; Esther’s, Sartin’s Seafood, Channel Inn, Burger Chef & Jeff, Leo and Willies, Boondock’s, Dorothy’s Front Porch, Al’s Seafood, Fish Net, El Charro and others.  Working for the Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce in downtown Port Arthur allows me to go out for lunch to meet with business owners, whether they are a current member, a new member, or a prospect. Some of the Chambers committee meeting are held and hosted at local restaurants. When I think of “For the Love of Food and Chamber Members” I think of, Darragh Castillo, who works for the Port Arthur Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, writes a food column in the local paper, Foodie and is an Ambassador and awarded Ambassador of the Year for the Chamber.
